Car Magazine. April 1987. Car Magazine is a long-running monthly UK publication that, well, looks at nothing but cars. It is what you would call a “current” magazine in that it focuses on cars, technology and events of the day. Given that my magazines go back 30 odd years though, the cars and events featured are now historic in nature! A new car then is an old car now. The articles were very well written and researched; the likes of Russel Bulgin and LJK Setright earned their reputations for good writing here. Furthermore the magazine employed the best, most creative photographers so you get some truly stunning images. This particular issue, for your interest and enjoyment, has articles on: My mum’s Allegro. Porsche 928S4. Workings of Austin Rover. Moulton Metro. Austin range assessed. COTY attack. Graham Day interview. Note that I have over 1,000 magazines listed in my eBay shop. To find these, click on the shop icon . Then, in the little search box down to the left [imagine looking down a bit towards your elbow!], simply type in the detail you are interested in. Manufacturer, car, person, event or even car registration number – be creative! Post: I try and be as fair as possible with postage rates.
