Weekend Telegraph Magazine – ‘Number 8′ November 13 1964 Main article: ‘The Wars of the Roses’ A vintage edition of the UK’s Weekend Telegraph supplement featuring a total of eight pages on the epic summer theatre production at Stratford (photographs Terence Donovan). The magazine is in excellent condition. The cover is not faded. The address where it was delivered some 46 years ago is written in pen on the back cover. (The Daily Telegraph was ‘One penny a week, if delivered’!) Other articles include one on the Cuban missile crisis, one on our ambassador in Bucharest (photos David Steen), and one on the Lord Mayor’s Motor Show with three great colour photographs by Alexander Low (Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Silver Cloud, SS Jaguar, Morris Cowley). There is no reserve on this item. Magazine will be sent in a ‘Please do not bend’ cardboard envelope, and due to its size is sent as a ‘packet’. Recorded delivery can be arranged if required. This is only the EIGHTH edition of the Weekend Telegraph published. I am also selling other editions from this era.
